Hmmmm...not sure why they feel the need to do this?? I am a person that believes in the right to privacy though.

I don't believe they have the right to spy on anyone by tapping phones, unless they have a really good reason. I do think it's ok to film places that could be potential terror targets. In London the Close Cam TV helped catch those perps real fast.

It's a different world that we live in now, isn't it? Just makes my heart sad.

I suppose if they want to hear my phone calls to my kids and my mother, have at it. But it sure will be boring! LOL

Happy Wednesday!!

Actually, they are building the database to track patterns. They don't "tap" at this time. They watch for patterns, and when the patterns are different, or tracked back to terorists...then they start tapping.

The media, as usual, has done the normal "drive by" reporting on this by not giving everyone the whole story.

I don't necessarily like it but I think if they can get the terrorists, it needs to be done.

This is something that should never happen. We have a right to privacy in America. Everywhere you go, you are being watched or recorded. Scary!

Thanks for bringing me up to date on this issues.
